It is the oldest roof which I have visited in Oslo. The green roof has been installed in 2002. It has made by Reiersøl Planteskole AS, Norway. It was a real challenge to find which company installed the green roof. Small 13 years old roof (in the summer of fieldwork 2015) seems protected from the winds, and has some shades. The extensive green roof is just on the second floor, not on the top of the whole building. Results of my work can be found in my master thesis.
The roof is on the small part of Georg Morgenstiernes hus (Blindernveien 31). Location on the picture.
Map from Google Maps.
Thanks to Anne Lise Pound and Eirik Finne for giving me access to the green roof.
